Welcome to Caryle Enterprises
LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT WE DO
Our four business models include:
- Narrowing the loop by minimising the utilisation of newly extracted resources and prioritising the usage of regenerative inputs – producing organic fertiliser from agricultural products and food waste.
- Slowing the loop by extending the lives of the products – repairing and refurbishing used household and office electronics for reuse.
- Intensifying the loop by providing services to maximise the utilisation rate of products – exchanging and reselling used books.
- Closing the loop by processing waste into value inputs or end products – making reusable sanitary towels and inner-wears from waste textiles.
Our Services
Our flagship project is the manufacturing of Organic Fertilizers by recycling agricultural products and food waste. We aim to address the consequences of global warming and climate change caused by human activities such as open burning of agricultural post-harvest produce and food waste. A large percentage of the food that we consume are produced through conventional agriculture with little regard to impacts on the environment. This has led to increased greenhouse gas emissions, soil erosion, water pollution, and threats to human health. Caryle aims to narrow the loop to optimize the waste by manufacturing organic fertilizer and selling to households and smallholder farmers for farming vegetables, especially the African Green Leafy Vegetables (AVLs). This will help them to eat and/or sell organic food rich in nutrients and health-promoting bioactive metabolites that possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties towards reducing the development of noncommunicable diseases. Promoting organic farming shall lead to a smaller carbon footprint, conserve and build soil health, replenish natural ecosystems for cleaner water and air, all without toxic pesticide residues. We shall also raise awareness about the benefits of organic farming to enhance vibrant participation in Organic Farming Movement.
